Jim Barnes has served as our Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain since June 2025. Prior to this role, Mr. Barnes was Senior Vice President, Strategic Global Sourcing since joining Generac in 2022. In addition to corporate supply chain, Mr. Barnes leads Generac’s Strategic Global Sourcing function and its Controls & Automation business unit. Before joining Generac, he served as President of SigmaTron International, where he led business development, supply chain, and operations. Mr. Barnes has more than 20 years of leadership experience in electronics, contract manufacturing, and global supply chain strategy. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Printed Circuit Engineering Association, an international network focused on advancing printed circuit design and engineering. Mr. Barnes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Illinois State University and an MBA in Operations Management from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
